Ecommerce website development at CodeXprime means an online store that takes orders, collects payments and ships products from day one. We mostly build custom stores on Next.js, and use Shopify or WooCommerce when a ready platform makes more sense. Every store comes with Razorpay payments, cash on delivery, GST-ready invoices and a shipping integration. The developer you talk to is the one who writes your code.

What you get with a CodeXprime store
Product pages with variants (size, colour, weight) and stock tracking
Cart, checkout and coupons that work well on mobile, since most Indian buyers shop on phones
Razorpay for UPI, cards and netbanking, plus a COD option you can switch on or off by pincode
Shiprocket for courier labels and tracking
An admin panel where you add products, see orders and download reports without calling us
On-page SEO basics: clean URLs, product schema, sitemap, fast loading
Which platform should you choose?
There is no single right answer. It depends on how many products you have and how much control you need.
Shopify: under 100 products, you want to launch fast, and monthly fees are fine. See our Shopify development service.
WooCommerce: you're already on WordPress and need a blog plus a store.
Custom Next.js store: custom pricing, B2B rules, subscriptions, no monthly platform fee, or a design Shopify themes can't do.
If you are unsure, tell us your product count and budget on WhatsApp. We will tell you honestly, even if the answer is a cheaper platform.
Real e-commerce and payment work we have shipped
Genuine Nutrition (genuinenutrition.com): an online supplement store built with Next.js, React, Node.js, Prisma and PostgreSQL. Payments run on Razorpay and orders ship through Shiprocket.
Monark FX (monarkfx.com): a fintech education platform with Razorpay payments, live Zoom sessions and user dashboards. Deployments were cut from about 30 minutes to 5 using a CI/CD pipeline.
Panacea Medcare (panaceamedcare.com): a healthcare platform with appointment booking, file uploads and WhatsApp lead alerts.

How we build your store
Call and scope: we list your products, payment and shipping needs, and agree on a fixed quote.
Design: home, category, product and checkout screens, shown to you before coding.
Build and test: we connect Razorpay and Shiprocket, then place real test orders with you.
Launch and handover: we go live, train you on the admin panel and stay on call for fixes.
How much does an e-commerce website cost?
A custom Next.js online store starts at ₹25,000. A Shopify store starts at ₹15,000. WooCommerce stores are quoted per project. The final price depends on the number of products, custom features and integrations. Platform fees (Shopify plan, payment gateway charges, hosting) are separate and paid by you directly. You pay 50% to start and 50% once development is complete. Full breakdown on our website cost page.
Tech we use
Next.js, React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Prisma, Redis, Razorpay, Shiprocket, Shopify, WooCommerce, AWS, Vercel, Docker.
Ecommerce website development for different industries
Every category sells differently, so the store has to be set up differently.
Fashion and clothing: size charts, colour variants, size-wise stock and easy exchanges.
Health and supplements: product information, batch and expiry details, and repeat-order reminders. Genuine Nutrition is an example we built.
Jewellery: zoomable photos, price by weight, and trust details such as certification and returns.
B2B and wholesale: bulk pricing, minimum order quantities and login-only rates.
Food and home products: pincode-based delivery and COD limits.
What makes an online store actually sell
A good-looking store is not enough. Sales depend on a few basics: pages that load fast on mobile data, a checkout with as few steps as possible, UPI and COD options, clear shipping and return policies, real product photos, and a WhatsApp button for buyers who want to ask before ordering. We build these into every ecommerce website development project by default, not as paid add-ons.
